Hazelnut cake

The vegan cake is good as such but can be filled or decorated as you wish. The recipe is big, for a whole baking tray. Not recommended for a normal cake pan as without egg the dough doesn't rise so much.

    Oat milk (or regular milk)

    Oil (sunflower or similar)

    Brown sugar

    Salt

    Vanilla

    Baking powder

  • 3

    Hazelnut flour

  • 1

    Crushed almonds

  • Mix baking powder with the flour.
  • Mix all other ingredients.
  • Add flour through a sifter and mix cautiously - too much stirring will make the cake texture rubbery.
  • Spread the dough on a baking tray and cook in 175°C for 35 minutes.
  • Cut in pieces and decorate.
