Walnut Bread

Easy recipe for a delicious loaf. Preparation time is long due to the rising of the dough, but actual time spent on baking is only 10-15 minutes. If you want a healthier bread you can replace half of wheat flour with other grains.

  • Mix the flours
  • Make a small hole in the middle of the flour and add the yeast in it. Pour warm water on the yeast and wait 10 minutes
  • Mix the dough for 5 minutes and let it rise for 40-60 minutes
  • Add the chopped nuts
  • Cover a bread form with baking paper and pour the dough in. Let it rise again for 30 minutes
  • Bake in 180 degrees for an hour. If you want a thicker crust and less crumbling bread, you can leave the bread in the oven for half an hour after turning it off
  • You can store the bread wrapped in the baking paper and a kitchen towel
  • Add salt and honey and mix for 5 more minutes
